Rise of Xosha Scavenger Hunt

Oceanus shook his head forlornly. “Mangum, you cannot control other beings. That’s not why we are here. We are conduits of strength and peace, not tools for destruction. Did it never occur to you that your plan may backfire and you will become weapons? Pawns of the mortals?”

“Stop calling me that! My name is Scotty now, not Mangum! I understand if you don’t want to join us, Oceanus. You see, the mortals fear you. They say you’re minions of some demon named Satan. They want us to prove ourselves as being sent by their God.” Mangum had started slowly edging closer to Oceanus as he spoke. The hint of insanity Oceanus had suspected danced openly in his tan eyes.

Oceanus bowed his head in a nod before answering in a voice that rumbled like a storm. “We accepted your kind as our own, never caring how you’d come to be and now you’d murder us all for humans? The line has been drawn by your own talon Scotty. No longer shall Dragons and Anjyls be allied. From now on it shall be kill. On. Sight!”
